☕ Morning fam,
The region learned nothing from the Ferguson uprising. Reform has been an epic failure. Progressivism, an even worse failure. And Black Girl Magic, a trojan horse. Every issue we took to the streets to fight against is worse. Made worse by this white woke administration and white progressives. The city recently had 2 officer involved killings… barely a month after Mayor Jones touted yet another civilian review plan meant to give the appearance of wokeness, just like Kim Gardner making a list of bad officers, but not going after them. And YAASSS, they’re on the job, getting paid not to do their job.
The city is also dealing with not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, but 6 deaths at the Justice Center since April. Memba the rush to close the Workhouse and move those inmates to the Justice Center which was already overcrowded and understaffed? All the jail reform actorvists and orgs that pushed for this are completely missing in action.
Even bail reform resulted in death of a woman whose abusive husband was bailed out by the bail fund without her knowledge, then went home and killed her. Defund has been a colossal failure resulting in increased crime/homicides. People/businesses are fleeing in droves.
This is what’s been heralded as reform, they’re killing us to ‘save us’.
