☕ Morning fam,
They say the truth is stranger than fiction. Look around. Look at our community. Look at the division. Our schools. The lack of economic development. The record crime, violence and homicides.
Now look at who runs it. Look at how they live. Where they live. And what schools they send their children to.
Now look at every black community from coast to coast. Show me where black leadership has worked for working black people? Show me where the Dem Party has worked for black people.
Progressivism?
I’ll wait.
And we’re supposed to overlook alla that because another party that doesn’t control anything where we live and that is not beholden to us because we don’t vote for them ‘doesn’t like us’?
We are gaslit and told to be more afraid of Trump/MAGA than the violence that they allow in our own community. We are told to hate people that don’t fux with us, instead those that ‘represent us’ and fail us everyday.
We are given a litany of excuses for the failure, none of which results in accountability or those that fail us over and over again stepping down.
We are simply to accept failure, being told that is the best they can do… And if we want better we better vote harder. For more failure. And more oppression. Because of mean tweets. And orange man bad.
