Resist the urge to take to the streets. For one rinse, repeat never works unless it’s to our disadvantage. Two, we’re worse off than when we took to the streets to protest the killing of Mike Brown after spending the last decade following the people, misplacing both our anger and demands for accountability. Third, we funded our opposition while starving out own on the frontlines. And finally, we haven’t built the necessary systems/institutions requited to adequately fight back.
Instead, we sold out, showed out and lashed out at those calling it out. Tyre Nichols and so many others are dead as a result. And nobody is reassessing strategy. Or talking about how the establishment is amplifying his killing to distract attn away from the many, many, many, many, many failures of the Biden admim, presidents/vps getting caught with classified information, what was exposed in Twitterfiles/Facebook files, people dying suddenly and how ai is changing everything.
