New Year’s in the St. Louis region is just another day. Since Ferguson the region has used PR, propaganda and media manipulation to push the false narratives that St. Louis is woke and a region on the rebound, when nothing could be further from the truth. St. Louis is not woke. And it is not a region on the rebound. St. Louis is corrupt to the core. People have zero faith in regional government or any of its institutions, all destroyed by years of nepotism, cronyism, corruption and grift. The President of the Board of Aldermen, 2 alders and 1 county representative are all on their way to prison for various crimes. With more federal indictments to come.
People continue to flee the region in droves. Instead of working to stop the exodus of residents, the region is circumventing legal immigration by importing noncitizens, diminishing the political capital of black citizens by changing the demographics of black municipalities, districts and wards. At a time black political power is already being adversely impacted by ward reduction. And like clockwork, enter Rasheen Aldridridg. Whenever they prop him up, black people lose.
Reform has been a cash cow for professional actorvist and these grifting assed orgs… a disaster for the rest of us. Here’s a recap
St. Louis is the child murder capital. A domestic violence suspect bailed out by the bail fund murdered his wife upon release. Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner routinely drops murder cases, many on the eve of trial and has been known to not show up for court… for murder cases. County Prosecutor Wesley Bell released a serial killer. A juvenile escaped from a juvenile facility and murdered someone while at large. One of the guys arrested for shooting a police officer last week had been previously arrested and released. Bail reform resulted in the release of a domestic violence suspect that returned home and murdered his unsuspecting wife.
Oh, and we had a mass shooting, the 2nd in 10 years. This time, a school shooting.
This isn’t pains of reform fam, this isn’t white supremacy. This isn’t the Republican boogie man of the hour. This is elected leaders, black leaders, nonprofits, professional activists and paid protester putting us all at risk to push a political agenda. And they think giving 400 people $9000 will make us forget.
