☕Morning fam,
Back to St. Louis posts, but only because I was asked. I hate talking about St. Louis, hate ringing the alarm because people are feeling overwhelmed by layers and layers of bad news, grifts exposed and corruption. By things getting worse, and the region’s fast paced race to the bottom. Plus nobody likes the messenger, not that I care about being liked, there are better uses of my time and other things I can be doing than breaking shit down, ringing the alarm and issuing warnings only to see them ignored and issues made worse.
The region is on a downward spiral. St. Louis hit rock bottom a looong time ago. And instead of reassessing, regional leaders took out shovels and started digging. If you didn’t see it you would never know Ferguson even happened. We are worse off than before Aug 9, 2014. Mike Brown never got justice. Millions were squandered by grifting assed actorvists, clergy and nonprofits. Short sighted, not well thought out reform with foreseeable consequences made things worse, even deadly.
People that rose to prominence and/or were elected as change agents have been huge fails. The movement shattered, the result of gullible activists/protesters getting in bed with the Dem Party/NPIC. Nonprofits and black clergy have zero credibility. Regional leaders/government even less. St. Louis needs a reset. The region is a dumpster fire, sitting on top of nuclear waste. It’s only a matter of time before it all blows up.
