At this point we’re doing it to ourselves. And no, this is not absolving the oppressors or any other group of atrocities committed against us. This is about self reflection, looking internally. We were played. There’s nothing we can do about that. But we control what happens today moving forward.
“White supremacy” is played. We’ve moved beyond the N word.
We’re not doing that civil rights shit.
We’re not people of color.
There is no black-brown coalition.
We’re doing us.
