Jesse Jackson’s famous quote from the early 1990s has resurfaced in the wake of the murder of the teenager, Austin Metcalf. Jackson’s quote was critical at the time, as he expressed relief at seeing a white person behind him rather than a Black person. It seems that Rev. Jackson had more in common with white nationalists than we initially thought.
