Before he signed with Death Row Records, Tupac Shakur was an up-and-coming rapper who worked on an album for a group called Jesse and the Kidz. Tupac served as lead vocalist on three of the tracks, but the album was never released—though a private collector could finally hear it now, if they have a quarter of a million dollars.

The plastic crown worn by Notorious B.I.G. during his “King of New York” photo shoot, signed by the artist, sold for nearly $600,000 at Sotheby’s in September 2020, a significant increase over its original $6 price tag and a pre-auction estimate of $200,000-$300,000.
